Terms of Use

Last updated: August 18, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Save Image As Chrome extension ("the extension", "we", "us"). By installing or using it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the extension.

What the extension does

Save Image As lets you save images from web pages you visit, optionally converting them to a different format (PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF or PDF), entirely on your own device. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what data is (and isn't) involved.

License to use the extension

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the extension for its intended purpose — saving and converting images you have a right to access. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the extension itself outside the Chrome Web Store.

Your responsibility for what you save

Save Image As is a general-purpose tool: it saves whatever image you point it at. It does not check copyright, licensing, or ownership of images, and it can't — that's not something software can determine from a picture alone. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to save, convert, and use any image you choose to save, the same way you would be if you saved it manually. We don't monitor, control, or take responsibility for what any individual user chooses to save.

Acceptable use

Please don't use the extension to:

No warranty

The extension is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every website; web pages change constantly, and a source-detection heuristic that works today can break tomorrow when a site changes its markup.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the extension. The extension is free; our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which is zero.

Changes to the extension or these terms

We may update the extension or these terms over time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where practical, in the extension's release notes. Continuing to use the extension after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You can stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the extension or your access to it if required by Chrome Web Store policy or applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
