None. WebTrim does not collect any personal information, browsing history, or usage data.
The rules you create (hidden elements and text filters) are stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local. This data never leaves your browser and is never sent to any server.
WebTrim does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, advertising, or data services. There is no backend server.
WebTrim requests the following Chrome permissions:
storage — to save your rules locally on your device.
activeTab — to apply your rules to the current tab when you open the popup.
scripting — to inject CSS that hides elements on the page, including on sites with strict Content Security Policies.
host_permissions (<all_urls>) — to apply your rules on any website you choose.
None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit data.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
