Volume Booster ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that amplifies tab audio locally on your device. This policy explains what data we collect — which is none.

Data We Collect

We collect no personal data of any kind. The Extension does not:

• Collect, transmit, or store your browsing history
• Record or transmit any audio
• Send any data to external servers
• Use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs
• Require account registration

Permissions Used

The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions, used solely for its core function:

• activeTab — to identify which tab to apply the volume boost to
• tabCapture — to capture that tab's audio stream locally for amplification
• storage — to remember your volume setting per tab within the browser session
• offscreen — to process audio in a background context using the Web Audio API

All audio processing happens entirely on your device. No audio data ever leaves your browser.

Local Storage

The Extension saves your volume preference per tab using Chrome's local storage API. This data never leaves your device and is cleared when you remove the extension.

Third Parties

The Extension does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics platforms.

Children's Privacy

The Extension does not collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
